A weigh feeder of the series E-DBW-A is extremely multifunctional. The typical range of application is in the middle up to the high range of conveying capacity for continuous dosing of fine to coarse bulk materials. 

Depending on the set value and on the belt load the belt speed is controlled in such a way that the dosing capacity exactly corresponds to the pre-set nominal value.


KUKLA weigh feeders are mounted onto a solid steel frame in order to ensure the stability required for a high-precise measuring. 

Each KUKLA standard scale is provided with a test weight device allowing a quick and easy check of weighing accuracy within a few minutes. .

An integrated weight-loaded belt steering- and tensioning device ensures high accuracy and high reliability.

Weigh feeders of the series E-DBW-H are extremely multifunctional. The typical range of application is in the middle up to the high range of conveying capacity for continuous dosing of fine to dust-like materials. Depending on the set value and on the belt load the belt speed is controlled in such a way that the dosing capacity exactly corresponds to the pre-set nominal value. For dust-like bulk materials or materials dangerous to health systems of series-H are applied. This type of scale is completely sealed. On customer's request also a fully automatical trough bottom cleaner is available. 
 

Quality and functionality

KUKLA weigh feeders are mounted onto a solid steel frame in order to ensure the stability required for a high-precise measuring. 
Each KUKLA standard scale is provided with a test weight device allowing a quick and easy check of weighing accuracy within a few minutes.

An integrated, weight-loaded belt steering- and tensioning device ensures high accuracy and high reliability. A pre-installed rotary vane feeder serves for an exact pre-dosing of dust-like materials.

Usual rubber conveyor belts are problematic up to impossibly usable for bulk materials with very high temperatures.

In case of these scales the material is lying on robust metal plates. It was a great challenge for our engineers to integrate a high-sensitive measuring technics which they managed to do in world-wide unique way.

The typical range of application is above all in the cement- and steel industry in the average up to the high range of conveying capacity for continuous dosing of grained bulk materials. Depending on the set value and on the belt load the belt speed is controlled in such a way that dosing capacity exactly corresponds to the pre-set nominal value.

Loss-in-weight-feeders unite the accuracy of a static measuring with the flexibility and efficiency of a continuous dosing system. Due to the flexible construction of the Kukla loss-in-weight-feeder both strongly flowing and extremely heavily flowing materials can be dosed exactly.  
By special loosening devices, which work asynchronously to the actual dosing system, the product is supplied material-carefully and exactly to the dosing screw. 
 
Loss-in-weight-feeder are multifunctional. The typical range of application is in the low up to the middle range of conveying capacity for continuous dosing of fine to granulated bulk materials.  Depending on the set value and on the loss of weight within the weighing bin the number of revolutions of the screw is controlled so that the dosing capacity is exactly corresponding to the set value.

Loss-in-weight-feeders unite the accuracy of a static measuring with the flexibility and efficiency of a continuous dosing system.

Also for the middle range of conveying capacity KUKLA offers a solution with a special construction of the weighing bin, of the loosening device and of the discharging screw. 


Due to the flexible construction of the Kukla loss-in-weight-feeder both strongly flowing and extremely heavily flowing materials can be dosed exactly.  
By special loosening devices, which work asynchronously to the actual dosing system, the product is supplied material-carefully and exactly to the dosing screw. 
 
A loss-in-weight-feeder is multifunctional.

The typical range of application is in the middle range of conveying capacity for continuous dosing of fine to granulated bulk materials.  Depending on the set value and on the loss of weight within the weighing bin the number of revolutions of the screw is controlled so that the dosing capacity is exactly corresponding to the set value. 

KUKLA loss-in-weight-feeders are mounted onto a solid steel frame. The power transmission   takes place by means of one or several load cells.

HEAVY DUTY FLOOD LOADING SYSTEM

You want to load a 500 m long goods train in only 20 minutes ? - We have got the solution.

A flood loading system is applied if railway cars (waggons) have to be filled up to the waggon edge. Thereby a moveable chute is hydraulically put onto the waggon.

Thereto the locomotive need not be coupled off the goods train. A corresponding gate valve is being moved with the help of a highly developed control system in such a way that all waggons achieve the requested weight. Since it is no longer required to stop the train  during the loading procedure, enormously high loading capacities are possible.

Due to the design many different types of waggons  can be loaded. With the help of an identification system automatically the correct loading parameters are selected. If required also trucks can be loaded.

Automatic data connection to rail scales or Interface to the clearing system are integrated.

As an example one third of the coal consumption of all 22 coal-fired power plants in the UK are being supplied by only two KUKLA flood loading systems.

CONTINUOUS TRAIN LOADING SYSTEM

Often the material has to be loaded directly without intermediate buffer. In these cases remote controlled locomotives are used. 

For this solution the train speed is permanently adapted to the material quantity supplied.  

By that an even filling height inside the waggons is achieved.  Change-over between the waggons is done with a forked chute or with a reversible conveyor belt. 

For extremely high loading capacities the  VECTOR-chute recently developed by KUKLA is applied.

Positionable loading systems with telescope loading heads are applied for realization of low to middle loading capacities. The waggons resp. the truck thereby stand still and are fully automatically loaded corresponding the loading profile requested.


Practical application for example is gypsum evacuation in the area of flue gas cleaning devices in large coal-fired power stations.

Weighing-dosing-screw-feeders are the ideal alternative to weigh feeders if fine to dust-like bulk materials have to be dosed in completely closed conveying systems.

The feeding of weighing- and dosing screw feeder is done by a rotary vane feeder.
 
The screw feeder supplied by  KUKLA is provided with a test weight device allowing a quick and easy check of weighing accuracy within a few minutes.

At impact flow meters the material slides over an impact plate. The force generated thereby is led into a sealed measuring housing on load cells. A typical case of application is the measuring of cycle load (semolina) of mill separator cycles.

In connection with feeding aggregates such as rotary vane feeders or dosing screws they are also applied for dosing applications or for charging at loading plants.

Suitable even for materials with high temperatures up to 400 degrees.
Special coatings of the impact plate are available at any time.

KUKLA impact flow meters are provided with a test weight. Thus, a check of the measuring system is possible at any time.

Weighing hoppers are bins with integrated discharging belt set on load cells.

Due to the stable construction and exact stabilization a high-precision measuring can be ensured.

Weighing hoppers are above all applied in the paper industry.

In order to be able to supply a product of highest quality to the customer substantial key components are subject to a raw assembly.
Then the lacquer finish, final assembly, a detailed shop test as well as the delivery is done.

This electronics is able to control belt scales, weigh feeders, impact flow meters as well as loss-in-weight-feeders.

The representation of all process data is made by a large full-graphic display.

The parameterizing takes place via clear text. The entire system was developed by KUKLA and is  - due to the decades of experience - perfectly adapted for  continuous material measurement.  All the same whether pre-bin-controller,  discharge shift registers, inclination angle correction, automatic test and tare routine with test load. EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED!

Within a few seconds the system can be switched into all usual languages (incl. Russian) .

As completion to the own developments in the continuous weighing technics KUKLA offers high-precision digital weighing amplifiers for static measurings. 

The amplifier changes the mV-weight signal of the load cell into an mA-signal which can be further processed by all usual control systems.

If required beside the analog output signal a digital switching output (e.g. threshold switch) is available.

The weighing processor can be simply parameterized both via an optional parameterizing software and via integrated keys. 

Due to the installation into a metal housing an optimal protection for field-mounting is provided.
